Caroline Bain

Alexandre Bain farms biodynamically in Tracy-sur-Loire, entirely with draft horses. His Pouilly-Fumé cuvées Mademoiselle M, Pierre Précieuse and Les Gryottes come from separate plots of Sauvignon Blanc on limestone and flint.

The wines are low-sulphur, long-aged on lees, with a surprising richness and depth rare in the appellation.
