Château de Béru

13th-century hilltop estate outside the town of Chablis, run today by Athénaïs de Béru. The Château sits on an early Kimmeridgian outcrop and includes the monopoly Clos-Béru.

Certified biodynamic, the wines are pure and intense, with a lift that reflects the higher-elevation, cooler heart of the appellation.
