Iconic Muscadet estate, today run by Fred Niger Van Herck. L'Écu farms biodynamically on four different soil types: granite (Granite), orthogneiss (Orthogneiss), gneiss (Gneiss), and mica schist — each bottled separately.

The domaine also works Chardonnay, Chenin, Cabernet Franc and Gamay with the same biodynamic rigour, in a low-sulphur, terroir-first style.
