Rémi Dufaitre joined the Beaujolais natural scene in the late 2000s, quickly becoming one of its most recognised voices. He farms old Gamay vines on granite and blue stone in Saint-Étienne-des-Oullières.

Semi-carbonic fermentations, native yeasts, minimal sulphur — the Dufaitre style combines the classical structure of Brouilly with the gentle juiciness of old-vine Villages.
