Georges Noëllat

Georges Noëllat, nephew of Charles, held one of Vosne's great estates — vineyards that would later feed Jean-Jacques Confuron, Hudelot-Noëllat and the greater part of Domaine Leroy.

In 2010 the reins passed to Maxime Cheurlin, still in his early twenties, who within a few vintages made this one of the most sought-after addresses in the Côte de Nuits. Whole clusters, restrained extraction, old wood.
