
Alain Castex and Ghislaine Magnier recognised something special in Jordi Perez and entrusted him with Le Casot des Mailloles, a tiny terraced estate named after the small shelters scattered across the parcels.
Perched around 600 meters above the sea, the vineyard overlooks the Mediterranean and is far too steep for mechanisation. Production is tiny — about 5,000 bottles a year — and the wines remain artisanal, direct, and full of place.
